Our judiciary is under attack. You have a chance to help protect it!

Judicial Delegates are Democrats who run in the Primary Election in order to join the Manhattan Judicial Convention. There, delegates vote to select New York State Supreme Court judges that will run on the Democratic Party line in November. This June 24, the candidates below will appear on the 2nd sheet of your Primary Election ballot.

These are Democrats who believe in the power and integrity of the judicial system, with educational or real-word experiences that allow them to vet and select the most formidable and qualified judges.These Judicial Delegate candidates are endorsed by community leaders and officials on Manhattan’s East Side because they know electing strong judges is crucial to justice and democracy.

Please vote for all of these Delegates on primary election day - Tuesday, June 24.

Myrna Lepree - Myrna is a retired social worker and longtime reform Democratic District Leader. She lives in Stuyvesant Town.

Gabriel S. Turzo - Gabe is a Kips Bay resident and member of Manhattan Community Board 6’s Land Use Committee.

Benjamin Wetzler - Ben is a former Democratic District Leader and housing activist. He currently lives in Stuyvesant Town.

Sara C. Valenzuela - Sara’s background includes managing political campaigns and government relations. She resides in Stuyvesant Town.

Bridgette Ahn - Bridgette is an attorney focusing on intellectual property and technology law. She is a resident of Turtle Bay.

Judith Gross - Judy is a longtime Kips Bay resident. She is an attorney focused on financial services and compliance.

Charles Martin Arnold - Charles is a partner at a successful personal injury law practice. He and his family are based in Murray Hill.

Faith A. Bondy - Faith is President of the Tilden Democratic Club. An East Midtown resident, she is an attorney and education activist.

Charles Sturcken - Charles is a Stuyvestant Town resident. He is a civil servant focusing on environmental protection and infrastructure.

Ayo Harrington - Ayo is an East Village resident with decades of activism on environmental, educational, and social justice.

Michael J. Schweinsburg - Mike is a disability rights activist and president of 504 Democratic Club of New York. He resides in the East Village.

Alana Sivin - Alana is an attorney focusing on criminal justice policy in New York State. She hails from the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
